Perfect Location

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights over the weekend. Christine is the perfect host, very attentive and showed real care with our plans and was very willing to contribute with suggestions. The B&B is on the main road going into Brecon, 100 yards from the centre and perfect for the local restaurants and shops, there was a little noise from the road but didn't keep us awake.

We had a lovely few days. The rooms were superclean and warm. Fantastic vegetarian breakfast and really friendly host Christine. We will definitely visit again! Christine also recommended lots of places for us to eat out. Very helpful.

Fantastic place to stay...

Fantastic find, Christine is a wonderful host, so friendly and warm and with great local knowledge. Ideal location for town and travelling around the national park. We received a room upgrade which was a fantastic surprise. Breakfast was lovely too!

Lovely stay with personalized experience

I stayed here with a friend for two weekend nights. When we arrived, we were greeted by two incredible hosts and shown to our room. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable.

This hotel really feels like a home away from home. It's so cozy throughout, and there is a big lounge area with a wood burning fire and bar. It was absolutely lovely to read by a warm fire after a long day of exploring. Breakfast was personalized down the the specific kind of jam we preferred - he even noticed how I like my tea and made an effort in the morning to make it perfect. To top it off, they even brought out "birthday pancakes" with candles for my birthday on my last morning there! I would absolutely recommend staying here - it has lots of character and charm in all the best ways. Our stay was marvellous; clean and comfy beds, a wonderful breakfast, brilliant communication and local tips from Christine, right in the centre of Brecon. Fully recommend and we will return! Brecon itself is very nice, with good bars and restaurants and, of course, easy access to some of the best walks in the UK (if not the world!).
